Housekeeping

Marianne Viehhauser

Always in a good mood and looking after the well-being of our guests, Marianne is responsible for housekeeping at the GROSSARLER HOF. Cleanliness and cosiness are always her top priorities, and she is the best contact person for hiking tips in the Grossarl Valley.

Reception

Victoria Wende

Theresa joined us in 2015 for a period of work experience and has been at the GROSSARLER HOF ever since. Since Summer 2021 she has been in charge of reception. Theresa is a master of keeping a cool head even when the phones are busy and the e-mails are piling up.

Sonja Hettegger

The management of the Erlenreich Relax & SPA is in good hands with Sonja Hettegger. Since the opening of the hotel, the experienced, trained masseuse has been pampering you with her team of first-class beauticians who put their heart and soul into your well-being and relaxation!

Michiel Berkers

As of 1 June, we welcome Michiel Berkers as the new hotel director at GROSSARLER HOF. He gained his extensive experience in the hotel business, gastronomy and tourism, among other things, as deputy hotel director and head of an Austrian tourism association.

Marcus de Jong

With a great passion for traditional recipes, which he interprets in a creative and modern way, and a deep connection to regional products, Marcus de Jong has been a seamless part of the GROSSARLER HOFS culinary philosophy since winter 2023.

Maintenance

Erwin Orieschnig

While Erwin loves to climb the peaks in and around the Grossarl Valley in his free time, he keeps the GROSSARLER HOF in good shape in his working hours with his manual skills and great diligence and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

Pay & bonuses

We pay our apprentices significantly more than the basic collective-bargaining agreement for the hospitality and hotel industry:

1st apprenticeship year: €110 more net (per month)
2nd apprenticeship year: €130 more net (per month)
3rd apprenticeship year: €150 more net (per month)
4th apprenticeship year: €170 more net (per month)

Bonuses for above-average grades in final apprenticeship exam:

Outstanding: €500 bonus
Good: €250 bonus

A small and exclusive spa area awaits you in the Small Luxury Hotel GROSSARLER HOF 4*S. You work with another colleague in the spa team and pamper our guests with high-quality beauty treatments, professional foot care and soothing massages.

You have good knowledge of German and English.

Staff loyalty programme

We appreciate everything our staff do to make the GROSSARLER HOF such a success. That is why we have come up with our own staff loyalty programme to reward outstanding service. Members of staff who receive positive feedback from guests and colleagues collect points. At the end of the season the team members with the most points can look forward to a range of prizes such as day trips and gourmet dinners. Our little way of saying a big thank you!
